Fiber laser (none mopa and mopa) can mark on different materials as : Aluminium, Gold, Platinum, Silver, Titanium, Brass, Tungsten, Carbide, Nickel, Stainless steel, Crome, Copper, Synthetic leathers, Carbon fiber, Fiberglass, PLT, PS, ABS, PBT, Silicon, Stones, Marble, Colored Acrylics

These parameters are provided as a "general range" and therefore some user testing and experimentation is required. Individual materials and preference will determine the final combination of settings for each application.

Learn how hatch spacing and frequency affect your results. Think of it like sanding a surface: lower frequency is like rougher sandpaper—more aggressive and removes more material. Power is the pressure you apply, and speed is how fast you move across the surface. Pulse duration (ns) determines how long each laser pulse hits—shorter pulses deliver cleaner, finer detail with less heat, while longer pulses produce more heat for deeper engraving.

Here is ezcad files that is important for you to mark on stainless steel, it will give you some information what your fiberlaser can do.
1. Power vs Speed Grid 2. Power vs Freq Grid 3. Frequency vs Hatch Grid

CUT settings = Use 0.2mm offset in design for cutting.

The Pulse [ns] settings are for MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) fiber laser only.
